I need a solution for one of my client for the following scenario.

Row Level

QTY - 10

Unit Price - 100

Total before Discount - 1000

Tax 5% - 50

Total after Tax - 1050

In the above i need to add doc level discount of 10% which will be on the total value (Rs.1050) and not on the Total before discount value..

can anybody help me with a suitable solution on this, since this is very critical.

I have a query regarding the display of TDS on Other Income in Master data Infotype 0584 sub type 0002 (Income from Other Sources) and same display in LOGGED CHANGES REPORT S_AHR_61016380.

First  there is a record for Income from Other Sources for Income from Interests as Rs.700000 and TDS on Other Income as 70000

Subsequently after 2 months the  record was altered with Interest amount as 840000 and TDS on Other Income as 84000

After running the payroll we have noticed that the system is not considering the revised amounts for TDS on other income, it is considered the old amount 70000(which was exist before changing the amount),  There is no issue with the Income from Interest.  It is considered the revised amount of 840000.

Checked the Logged changes report S_AHR_61016380.  Here the old field and new field are showing as old amount 70000 for TDS on Other Income.  But at the same time in the log in the bottom the revised amount of TDS on Other Income is displaying in the New Field Column with text TDS at Source.

What could be the reason for not considering the revised latest amount for TDS on Other Income and displaying the TDS on Other Income in 2 different amounts in Infotype 0584 subtype 0002 screen and in the log changes Report S_AHR_61016380.

i have changed the withhold tax code in particular vendor master data.. but when iam trying to pay invoice through F-53 that happen before the changes, sap does not allow me to choose it and he give me massage that item have not been activated due to inconsistent in withhold tax info..

    Good morning, How are you ?

    I have BEx Query with runs well on EP.  my client wants to filter the query result based on employee role in EP. 

    I have 8 Purchasing group.  Currently query displays all the 8 Purchasing  group records, now client wants to have filter on Purchasing group based on roles or authorisations of user in EP.

Say  I am HOD of Production purchasing group.  now when I will login in the EP and try to run the report by defualt I will get all the results related of Production purchasing group. other 7 purchasing groups will be excluded and this filter's can't be altered as well.  Say If I am viewing Production Purchasing Group records then I cant change to some another purchasing group records.

I have no clue how to do this.  Please help me to understand how to solve this requirement. I will greatly appreciate your any reply.

During creation of notification if you select priority urgent, which means job needs to be perform within two or three days, but if weekend is coming between these days maintenance team is not available, we want a popup message by saying about the weekend so end user cannot select urgent and select other priority to proceed.

I am trying to send idoc from one client(800) to another client(810).I have faced error Company code does not exist, searched scn ,Got solution if company code does not exist in reciever system(810 client) ,it will show this error  .Then i have tried to give specific company code which is exist in 810 client also .But same issue is coming . So what exactly the issue can any one say .

More Info:FI(Finance) header items and line items are sending .

Hello Experts,

We have developed a program, in which, I m trying to display the % values in the Sub Totals and Grand Total lines, The logic and program functionality is performing very well. The report is displaying the output the way end user is willing to see.

The main problem is, the entire % values are going to a toss when we click the Print Preview or trying to print the report, which is not supposed to go that  way. I have even tried to debug the program where the problem is evolving in the code, but it is not raised from the code.

Please refer to the screen shots.Before clicking the Print Preview and after clicking the print preview.

Do anybody face the same kind of problem ever?

If so please let me know what could be the best possible solution.

Hello Friends - We already have functionality of sending Payment advice by mail to Vendors and working fine.

We need to set up the same functionality for some of our new Co Cds. Are there Co Cd specific settings we need to do.

Or is this the only front end activity that will do for sending Payment advices by mail

1. maintaining Vendor mail id in "Other Communication - INT tab" and

2. chose Standard Communication Method = EMail.

Can you pls clarify my doubt.

My client have the 10 public holidays for 1 year but those days are unpaid,any one can suggest PCR for this scenario.

Ex: may 1st was Public Holiday buy its off/unpaid

Dear Expert,

My customer would like to follow in PS report amount / values in a currency of his choice translated from the transaction currency.

On a same WBS, there are several posting for a same cost element and different currency.

Indeed, if I use an exchange rate and type from the CO area posting, there has already been a conversion from the transaction currency to the CO area currency which lead to inconsistences if the exchange type is not the same.

Of course it seems logical that all valyes are translated on a single date to be populated.

From our prospective we have the following cases :

• PS cost element report => Thanks to transaction RPP0 we are able to satisfy our customer requirement
• PS hierarchical report => We do not find a work-around scenario. We are wondering if something would be possible through the transaction CJEC for currency translation key ?
• PS summarized report by cost element => We do find a work-around scenario.
• PS summarized hierarchical report => We do find a work-around scenario.

If we have to develop a new solution on those topics, do you think we have to make a full specific solution or should we use report painter / writer to adress this need. I am not sure it is even possible by report painter / writer.

Well Jitendra has already covered quite a few things about India in his blog. Let me cover something different here which not many people may know about.

We have often heard that cow is considered holy and worshiped by Hindus in India. But does anyone know why this is so? In fact, I have found that not many people are able to explain it well. So here is the explanation...

In Hinduism, the status of Parents (Father and Mother) is considered equivalent to that of God. When a baby is born, s/he drinks mother's milk upto a certain age and then switches over to cow's milk for the lifetime. Hence, cow is considered as Mother in Hinduism. And since Mother is worshiped in Hinduism, cow is considered Holy and worshiped in Hinduism.

In fact, there is a famous poem in Hindi which starts with the line - Cow is my Mother!

I believe that Google has been one of the most innovative companies in the world and one of those which is truly changing people's lives.

It was sheer serendipity for me when while trekking through the rainforests in Blue Mountains, Sydney, I realized that I loved traveling. As earlier mentioned, I have been fortunate to have traveled across the world (Germany, France, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, USA, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland and China) - some of them were personal travels.

My wife was also a SAP BI consultant and she and I worked for Rio Tinto for around 1.5 years in Brisbane, Australia. During the year 2011, we went on vacation almost every month since we wanted to explore Australia.

When we returned to India, I realized that I had left behind a part of me in Australia. I really miss Australia even today. I even thought of applying for PR in Australia but my wife didn't want to settle abroad for long term.

So what do I do in such a case?

I use google maps street view to explore places in Australia and sometimes revisit those places. I do this quite often. It is really an amazing tool to experience and relive those places.

By the way...if you are an Indian looking to settle abroad, Australia will be one of the best places because of the below reasons:

• Weather in Australia is similar to that of India.
• You won't have language problem since English is primary language. This is very important because it helps you to connect to the culture and people there. My worst experience with regards to language was in China as I couldn't even read the scripts
• Food wise, the best thing about Australia is that quite a few food outlets provide "Make Your Own" option and you can prepare your own vegetarian dishes and just pay for what you eat.
• You will find a significant Indian population there or people of Indian origin (quite a few of them have migrated from Fiji and South East Asia too).
• And no doubt, it is one of the growing economies of the world and hence, more opportunities.

What do you most enjoy on SCN?

I am more into creating quality end to end knowledge documents in SAP HCM space in SCN.

With time, I realized that I get immense sense of satisfaction in writing detailed solutions to various problem situations in SAP HCM. I also love explaining standard SAP HCM concepts in detail so that any person going through the document can understand the concepts.

I am also happy that SAP Community members have appreciated my contributions and feel that I am enriching the knowledge database in SCN.

I hope one day I get a chance to visit the wild Africa and its fabled African safari. I also want to complete my Australia discovery (I couldn't travel to Darwin, Katherine, Broom, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth last time).

And last but not the least, I would also like to visit Latin America.  The list is long, time is less...I hope I will be able to travel these places some day

If you were 20 again, what would you study?

Without an iota of doubt, I would study photography and become a professional photographer and capture those Kodak moments. In fact, all the photos taken during my travel are another source of reliving those places for me.

What makes you smile/laugh?

Without a doubt, witty remarks and jokes bring smile to my face. And since it is season of elections in India...all one liners on Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi trending in Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp do make a good laugh!

But most of all, the innocent activities and answers of small kids sometimes pleasantly surprises me and that really brings a smile and feeling which is difficult to express in words!

Had you not been into software at all, where would you have been?

I believe that this is another thing which evolves with time and changes as you also evolve with time .

When I was 8 years old and used to get upset seeing India bashed by almost every other country in 1990s in Cricket, I wanted to become a Cricketer .

But now I believe that I am more aware of what I would have been had I not been in IT industry. I would have worked for a travel channel or travel magazine and write blogs on exotic travel locations which the world can explore.

I believe that traveling is an education. It helps you to re-discover yourself. One should just travel...wherever it may be. It will help you to know things about yourself you may not have known till now. It will definitely widen your horizons of thinking and make you appreciate a different culture, language, food and way of thinking. Without an iota of doubt, it will make you a more tolerant and better person in life .

What is the craziest thing you would have done in your life?

Well, I wanted to climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge but couldn't do that. Hence, I finally decided to climb the Story Bridge in Brisbane.

It was an awesome feeling climbing on the top of a bridge and looking the world from above...I think almost equivalent to going on top of Eiffel Tower.

Hi All,

We use 2 step Pick for our outbound process but the interim zone we use should have no negative stock allowed and there are multiple bins in it

everything is working fine...except we want that in the step of release withdrawal from wave the stock going to interim area should be allocated to particular identification so that a second wave release will not pick the stock which is withdrawn for first wave

We tried with stock identification for withdrawal process type 2020 but it doesn't work

is there any other possibility to achieve it ?

I've built a structural authorisation profile which utilises the FM RH_GET_ORG_ASSINGMENT, as outlined below:

When assigned directly to a user (via OOSB), the user is restricted to their own org unit - as expected.

When I assign the profile to the default record SAP*:

Users get the following message when trying to access objects:

When I assign SAP* a profile with an explictily defined OBJID, it works nicely.

Is it by design that SAP doesnt allow SAP* to have a profile with a FM?

If not, what step am I missing in this process?

HI,

    I have created a Z-table, and i have changed one field( A ) data type from NUM10 to NUM13 after few days. Now the table is capable of storing from 10 digits to 13 digits in the changed field (A).

  My problem is when i am reading table by passing 11 digits or 12 digits value of the field (A).it is showing not availabe message even though the record exixts in the table. and if im reading with 10 digits or 13 digit values of the field(A) it is showing fine...

What might be the problem with the Z-table field (A). I have already adjusted the database in SE14 for the ztable. PLease sujjest me in overcoming it

I need to post with different text which is accrual object text like (PORT CHRG-ID-SAC/00995/A3/32997^01.04.14-31.03.15^)

as well as I need to change assignment as Person Responsible text.

I know to create for Asset, Cost centre and all masters, but not for document posting. What if there are 999 line items?
